General data processing
We process personal data only where necessary to provide our website and services, where you have given consent, where processing is required to provide a service requested by you, or where another lawful basis applies.
Depending on how you use this website, we may process information including:
- name
- email address
- form submissions
- masterclass registrations
- newsletter subscriptions
- website interaction data
- device and browser information
- IP address
- referral information
- campaign and UTM parameters
3
Masterclass registration
When you register for one of our masterclasses, we process the information you provide in order to manage your registration, send information relating to the event and provide access to the masterclass.
This may include:
- first name
- email address
- registration date
- masterclass information
- referral and campaign information
Where applicable, we use a double opt-in process to verify the email address.
4
Newsletter and email communication
If you subscribe to The Order Ladder newsletter or consent to receiving marketing communications, we process your email address and, where provided, your first name.
We currently use Beehiiv to manage email subscriptions and email communications. Where enabled, a double opt-in process is used.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email.
5
Cookies and consent
This website uses a cookie and consent management system with three categories.
Necessary: technologies strictly necessary to operate the website and to provide services you request, such as the newsletter form itself. These may load without optional consent where legally permitted.
Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 and Mixpanel. These are not initialized, their scripts are not loaded and no analytics events are sent before you accept the Analytics category.
Marketing / Advertising (optional): Meta Pixel and Reddit Pixel. The advertising scripts are not loaded, not initialized and no advertising or conversion events are sent before you accept the Marketing category.
You can accept all optional technologies, reject all optional technologies, select individual categories, change your choices later and withdraw consent at any time. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so it can be applied on later visits.
Rejecting optional tracking does not block access to the website, the newsletter or masterclass registration. Submitting the newsletter form does not constitute consent to analytics or advertising technologies.
6
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 only where you have consented to analytics tracking. Google Analytics may process information including pages visited, session information, website interactions, browser and device information, approximate location derived from technical connection data, referral source, campaign and UTM parameters.
The purpose is to understand how visitors interact with the website and to improve our pages and signup funnel, including which campaigns visitors arrive from. The Google tag is not loaded before analytics consent has been given, and Google Consent Mode signals are set to denied by default. Advertising-related Consent Mode signals are only granted if you additionally accept the Marketing category. Page views are sent by our own code once per page, so no duplicate page views are generated. If analytics consent is rejected the tag stays disabled; if consent is withdrawn, future tracking stops.
More information: Google Privacy Policy.
7
Mixpanel
We use Mixpanel to understand how visitors use the website and how they move through our signup funnel. Where you have consented to analytics tracking, Mixpanel may process events such as page views, interactions with pages and forms, completed newsletter or masterclass signups, funnel progression, browser and device information, and campaign attribution information such as UTM parameters (for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term) and the landing page a visit started from. We store the campaign information of your first visit and of your current visit so that we can tell which channel a signup originated from.
Mixpanel is not initialized and no analytics data or attribution information is stored before analytics consent, even if campaign parameters are present in the URL. After analytics consent, Mixpanel is initialized and event tracking is enabled. If consent is later withdrawn, future Mixpanel tracking stops and Mixpanel's opt-out functionality is used. Mixpanel belongs to the Analytics category and operates only according to your Analytics setting.
More information: Mixpanel Privacy Policy.
8
Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) for campaign measurement, conversion measurement and advertising optimization, and where applicable for remarketing and audience functionality, only if you have consented to the Marketing / Advertising category. It may process events such as page views, newsletter signup and conversion events, campaign and referral information, browser and device information and technical connection information such as your IP address.
The Meta Pixel script is not loaded and not initialized before you accept marketing cookies, and no PageView, Lead or registration events are sent. After marketing consent the pixel is initialized and page view and conversion events are allowed. Each conversion event is sent at most once per signup. If marketing consent is rejected the pixel stays disabled; if consent is withdrawn, future Meta tracking stops.
More information: Meta Privacy Policy.
9
Reddit Pixel
We use the Reddit Pixel (Reddit, Inc.), subject to your Marketing / Advertising consent, in order to measure the performance of our Reddit advertising, understand whether advertising leads to actions on our website, measure page visits and newsletter conversions, attribute conversions to Reddit advertising, optimize our advertising campaigns and support advertising and retargeting functionality where applicable and permitted.
Depending on the implementation, the technical and event information involved may include items such as browser and device information, technical identifiers, referrer information, page information, advertising interaction information and conversion events such as PageVisit and Lead.
The Reddit Pixel script is only loaded and only initialized after the applicable Marketing / Advertising consent has been granted. Without that consent, the Reddit script is not requested and no Reddit event is sent. We do not intentionally use Reddit Advanced Matching: we do not send email addresses, phone numbers, names, customer lists or other personal identifiers to Reddit as Advanced Matching parameters.
More information: Reddit Privacy Policy.

11

Data retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose or where legal retention obligations apply. Newsletter subscription information may generally be retained until the subscriber unsubscribes or requests deletion, subject to legal obligations. Analytics and advertising information is retained according to our settings and the retention periods of the respective providers.

Email marketing consent can also be withdrawn using the unsubscribe link contained in marketing emails.
